Organic Millet Flour

A whole grain that has a mild buttery flavour, lots of vitamins and minerals, and adds a lovely creamy color to baked goods. Also has 10% more protein than wheat.

Cane Sugar

No artificial sweeteners or heavily refined sugars in here. Just raw, natural cane sugar to give the right amount of sweetness.

White Rice Flour

Rich in hard-to-find vitamins and minerals with a neutral flavour. Improves the air trapping and stretching abilities of dough.

Brown Rice Flour

A whole grain product complete with fibre and protein. 3x more phosphorus than wheat. Imparts a nice, mild nutty flavour

Aluminum-free Baking Powder

We only use Aluminum-free Baking Powder in all of our mixes. Prevents the tinny taste that regular powder can give off. We say keep the tin in the foil ;)

Tapioca Starch

Chosen for its neutral flavour and to provide that “stretch” to recipes during baking. Best of all it’s fat-free and less processed than wheat.

Guar Gum

An emulsifier that reduces air loss during baking. Chosen because it is less processed than xanthan gum with a neutral flavor and has 40x more potassium than wheat.

Psyllium Husk

Promotes regularity, helps ease constipation, and aids in overall digestive health. Not to mention is has 17x more calcium than wheat.


The right amount of daily sodium is key for overall health. It’s important not to overdo it though so we put in just enough for optimal flavour.

Vanilla Bean Powder

All-natural vanilla bean powder gives off a rich sweetness and aroma to your cakes. No need to add it, it’s already in the bag!


Ginger is loaded with antioxidants and has 5x more fibre than wheat. We love using it to round out the flavours of our baking blends.

Sweet treats, no hassles

Makes 1 double layer cake


  • 1 Bag GF Artisan Vanilla Bean Cake Mix
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1¼ cup Milk of your choice
  • ½ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Bag GF Artisan Vanilla Bean Cake Mix
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 300 ml Milk of your choice
  • 125 ml Vegetable Oil


  1. Preheat your oven to 350° F (convection if you have)
  2. Whisk eggs in mixer until double in volume 3-4 min.
  3. Add approximately half the bag of GF Artisan Vanilla Bean Cake Mix, stir until smooth.
  4. Add half of the milk and oil and mix until incorporated
  5. Add the remaining cake mix stir until smooth.
  6. Add the remaining milk and oil, mix as much as needed for batter to be smooth.
  7. Lightly oil two 8 “round cake pans. Pour half of batter into each pan and Bake for 20 -22 mins
  8. Test with a toothpick for doneness or, temperature probe for an internal temperature of 175° F
  9. Let cool if you can wait … Enjoy!
