Organic Buckwheat Flour

Has a delicious toasted nut flavour which caramelizes well and helps in the formation of a good crust. Even better it has 25% more protein than wheat.

White Rice Flour

Rich in hard-to-find vitamins and minerals with a neutral flavour. Improves the air trapping and stretching abilities of dough.

Rice Flour Brown

A whole grain product complete with fibre and protein. 3x more phosphorus than wheat. Imparts a nice, mild nutty flavour

Aluminum-free Baking Powder

We only use Aluminum-free Baking Powder in all of our mixes. Prevents the tinny taste that regular powder can give off. We say keep the tin in the foil ;)


Chosen for its neutral flavour and to provide that “stretch” to recipes during baking. Best of all it’s fat-free and less processed than wheat.

Guar Gum

An emulsifier that reduces air loss during baking. Chosen because it is less processed than xanthan gum with a neutral flavor and has 40x more potassium than wheat.

Potato Protein

A healthier, plant-based protein alternative that is mild in flavour and adds fluffiness to pancakes and waffles when cooked.

Psyllium Husk

Promotes regularity, helps ease constipation, and aids in overall digestive health. Not to mention is has 17x more calcium than wheat.


The right amount of daily sodium is key for overall health. It’s important not to overdo it though so we put in just enough for optimal flavour.


Ginger is loaded with antioxidants and has 5x more fibre than wheat. We love using it to round out the flavours of our baking blends.


Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants and other beneficial compounds.

Patty Cakes Protein Pancakes


  • 1 Cup Patty Cakes Potato Protein Pancake Mix - 38g protein
  • 1 Cup Milk of your choice - 12g protein (dairy)
  • 3 Large Eggs - 18g protein
  • 2 Tbsp oil or Melted butter


  1. Whisk together all the ingredients till smooth, set aside for 3 min to hydrate.
  2. Ladle onto a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan, heated at 350° F.
  3. Cook until you see the pancakes rising for 4-5 min. Or just scoop into a preheated, oiled waffle iron and cook until fluffy and golden brown.
  4. Dig in!
